Delete your Devoku account and data
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This page describes how to request deletion and what the current process does.
Delete in the app
- Sign in to Devoku.
- Open Settings → Privacy & data.
- Select Delete my account.
- Complete the confirmation shown.
If you cannot sign in, email privacy@devoku.com from the account email. We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity.
Required preparation
Current self-service deletion requires you to:
- transfer ownership of teams you own;
- delete active virtual machines; and
- delete active agent backup repositories.
An organization-managed account cannot be self-deleted. Ask the organization administrator to deactivate it and contact privacy@devoku.com about personal data rights. Organization-owned work may remain under the organization’s control.
These prerequisites must not be used to prevent a legally valid deletion request. Contact privacy@devoku.com if the in-app process is blocked.
What self-service deletion does
When confirmation succeeds, Devoku:
- removes core profile identifiers such as email, display name, identity key, identity-provider ID, inviter reference, profile avatar and color, date of birth, and age attestation or internal age-eligibility verification from the Devoku user record;
- revokes tracked sign-in sessions;
- attempts to delete the corresponding identity-provider record; and
- prevents the deleted profile from continuing to authenticate.
An internal pseudonymous identifier can remain so transactions, shared content, audit events, and database relationships retain integrity.
Data that may remain
Deletion does not remove:
- historical human or agent chat and message;
- file or message retained by another participant;
- organization-owned workspace or work product;
- automation, workspace record, or external integration record;
- invoice, tax, credit, fraud, security, moderation, or audit record;
- protected backup or legal-hold copy; or
- copy already sent to a model, speech, app-store, payment, or other provider.
Within 30 days, Coded deletes or de-identifies remaining eligible account data. Continued retention is limited to another person’s rights, an organization’s lawful work product, security, billing, moderation, legal obligations, claims, or protected backup aging. These limitations are not a blanket right to retain account data.
Export before deletion
Use Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data before deletion. The current self-service export includes profile, credit, team, consent, session, audit, VM, and backup metadata. It does not contain every raw chat message or workspace file. Use available chat/workspace copy tools and contact privacy@devoku.com if you require a broader legally available copy.
Subscriptions and purchases
Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple, Google, or another third party. Cancel it in that provider’s subscription settings. Subscription cancellation does not itself delete the account. Account deletion must remain available even while a store subscription is active.
Timing and contact
Login is disabled, tracked sessions are revoked, and core profile identifiers are removed when in-app confirmation succeeds. Remaining eligible account data is permanently deleted or de-identified within 30 days. Coded answers verified privacy requests within the period required by applicable law.
